Last Sunday I preached on Philippians 2:19-30, exploring the theme of encouragement as we see how Paul affirms Epaphroditus, who was in great need of encouragement. While I was writing the sermon, I received an email from a clergy colleague who shared these thoughts:
Live Simply.
Love Generously.
Care Deeply.
Speak Kindly.
Leave the rest to God.
Good words to live by, don't you think?

This also brings to mind one of my favorite Bible verses, Micah 6:8
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and
to love mercy and
to walk humbly with your God.
